| One of the most common issues that occurs inside the horse's mouth is the development of sharp points on the cheek teeth. These sharp edges develop on the buccal sides (cheek side) of the upper teeth and the lingual side (tongue side) of the bottom teeth. Left unattended, these sharp edges can cause great discomfort to the horse while eating or while being ridden. In severe cases, these sharp areas are accompanied by lacerations on the cheeks or tongue. |
